 Dear Visitor! Thank you for browsing the website of the Hungarian Institute for Forensic Sciences. I inform you that our Institute is under a large scale reorganization from the 1st of January 2017. Due to the decision of the government, HIFS is merged with the Network of Forensic Sciences Institutes under the Ministry of Interior. In this new organization more than 700 employees are working in order to help criminal procedure and civil proceedings with scientific results of the examinations. For the time being HIFS has got 11 regional institutes in the whole territory of Hungary for providing it’s high quality and professional service as quickly as it is possible.
